Policies

Investing in Quality

Our products are of high quality. If used in accordance with the manufacturers’ recommendations, we expect you to get many years of use from them. If a manufacturer failure or defect occurs, please see our Manufacturer Warranty and our Return and Refund Policy.


Exchanges

Please note that Luminous Events does not offer exchanges. The customer is responsible for selecting the products that suit their design.


Return and Refund Policy

Refunds may be granted for any items that arrive damaged or for manufacturer failures or defects that fall under our Manufacture Warranty. All matters are considered on a case-by-case basis. 


Manufacturer Warranty

There is a 1-year limited warranty. The 1-year period begins on the day the item leaves the warehouse. 


A manufacturer failure or defect may make a product eligible for a return. Here are the steps for resolution: 


1. Provide Documentation | You must email pictures and video of the item:

  •  in the original packaging as well as the shipping box
  • demonstrating the failure or defect 


2. RA Number Generated | If a return is approved, a Return Authorization number will be generated and emailed to you. The RA number must accompany the item but should not be written on the box. Please return the product in its original packaging.  


3. Charges Assessed | Luminous Events will provide a free return label. Return authorizations are valid for only 30 days. 


4. Refund Granted | Once we receive and inspect your product(s), your refund will be processed. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for a refund to process. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase. Luminous Events can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping fees are nonrefundable. 


Damaged Items During Shipping

Document Damage | If a product is damaged during shipping, the customer must report and document the issue within 5 business days of delivery. Failure to do so may result in making your product nonreturnable. Please follow the Manufacturer Warranty protocol as you would for defective products.
